Doctor Scott Cook, MD, MPH Family Medicine

Scott Cook, MD, MPH works at Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. He is board certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Cook is a practicing physician and international lecturer specialized in addiction medicine and behavioral health. He focuses on evidence-based evaluation and management of substance use disorders. Dr. Cook serves as Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer for multiple organizations addressing addiction medicine and behavioral health. Dr. Cook practices in-person medicine and telemedicine across twelve different states, and he recently joined Harvard Medical School for their program in Global Health Care Leadership. Dr. Cook serves as an expert speaker on the public health implications of racism, and he founded Travel Doctors to increase addiction medicine workforce capacity and to improve patient access to care.
