Patrick Monahan, MD, MPH, MS serves as Colonel in the United States Air Force. He is double board certified in preventive medicine and internal medicine. Dr. Monahan additionally serves as Assistant Dean for Simulation Education at the Val G. Hemming Simulation Center at Uniformed Services University. He oversees pre-clerkship clinical instruction as Director of Integrated Clinical Skills. Dr. Monahan was previously the Chief of Population Health Operations for the United States Air Force. He has served for over 25 years as an active duty physician with previous deployments to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Dr. Monahan is a highly decorated leader with over 10 military medals for service, achievement, and commendation. He remains clinically active and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
